NCT6500 NAV/COM Radio

Communication / Navigation / Transceiver

The NCT6500 is a combination of navigation receiver and VHF communications transceiver in one unit. It is intended primarily to satisfy the basic navigation and communication needs of users with a minimal complement of avionics.

The navigation receiver is made up o a VOR/Localizer and a Glide Slope receiver. The VHF Com transceiver is made up of a receiver and a 10 watt AM transmitter. Both subsystems have independent power supply which increases system reliability. Ideal for retrofit for legacy radios.

NAV ILS (LOC+GS) / VOR Receivers

NAV subsystem is based on Software Defined Radio technology with full digital signal processing of the channel baseband. The design consists of two independent receiver paths for VOR/LOC and GS functionality.

COM Transceiver

The COM transceiver is based on proven, already certified Becker Avionics VHF transceivers. It supports both 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing, high performance transmitters with 10W power output and many other features.
