Becker Avionics Expands AMU6500 Series with New DVCS6100+ & Compact Control Panels

Becker Avionics is proud to announce the continuing expansion of its AMU 6500 digital intercom system.

The new addition to the AMU6500 series is the DVCS 6100 Plus and DVCS 6100 Compact control panels. The AMU 6500 employs soft touch keys and glass for its control screen. These new DVCS panels eliminate the glass screen and soft touch keys of the AMU 6500 and incorporate the same Human Machine Interface “HMI” as Becker Avionics' traditional DVCS 6100 system. As in DVCS 6100, DVCS 6100 Plus and DVCS 6100 Compact employ a rotary knob for transmit selection and robust push buttons for monitor selection.

The enhanced capabilities of the AMU 6500 family are included in the DVCS 6100 Plus and Compact. These features include Bluetooth functionality, and 3D audio. The DVCS 6100 Plus features separate monitoring and volume control for up to 14 transceivers, the DVCS Compact handles 10 transceivers.

The capabilities of the new DVCS 6100 Plus and Compact offer the operator a system designed explicitly for single-pilot operations with a gloved hand in a high-tempo environment.

The 3D audio can enhance the flight crew's situational awareness and Bluetooth capability allows for greater mission flexibility.
